Deeview Designs is based in Drumoak which is situated in Royal Deeside in the North East of Scotland. At the western end of the Dee Valley lies the Balmoral Estate which was purchased by Queen Victoria in 1848 and has been the Scottish home of the British Royal Family ever since. Queen Victoria described Balmoral as her ‘paradise in the Highlands '.

A unique page_insert of the region is the number of castles located within it, more than in any other part of the United Kingdom. Most of the castles, which are major tourist attractions, are owned and administered either by the National Trust for Scotland or Historic Scotland . There is a Castle Trail linking these properties.

Nancy Jackson seeks to capture in her range of cards the nature of the region's rich and varied landscape and the distinctive character of its many historic buildings and gardens.
